The practice
A quiet room
in Mar Vista.
The office is in Mar Vista, a residential pocket of the Westside between Venice and Culver City. The space is deliberately spare: two chairs, soft natural light, the muted sounds of a quiet street. For the privacy of clients and the practice, the exact address is shared after the consultation call.
The office is easily reached from Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, and West LA — typically a ten- to fifteen-minute drive. For those further afield, secure video sessions are available throughout California and Massachusetts.

Why this practice
What sets this apart
from a directory listing.
01
A real consulting room.
In-person, in a dedicated office — not a video square, not a shared coworking pod. The container matters. The container is part of the work.
02
Depth, not protocol.
Psychoanalytically trained, which means I am not following a manual or counting weeks toward discharge. The pace and direction are yours; the thinking is shared.
03
A small private practice.
A limited caseload, not a clinic. You see the same person every session. The relationship between us is the instrument of the work.
FAQ
Questions
worth asking.
- Where exactly is the office?
- The practice is in Mar Vista, on the Westside of Los Angeles — minutes from Venice, Santa Monica, Culver City, and the broader Westside. For the privacy of clients and the practice, the exact address is shared after the consultation call.
- Do you offer in-person sessions, telehealth, or both?
- Both. The primary practice is in-person in Mar Vista; secure video sessions are available throughout California and Massachusetts. Many clients combine the two — in person when possible, video when travel or schedule requires it.
- Which neighborhoods do most of your clients come from?
- Most are on the Westside — Mar Vista, Venice, Santa Monica, Culver City, Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Palms, West LA. The office is within ten to fifteen minutes of each. For clients elsewhere in the state, video is a real option.
- How often would we meet?
- Psychoanalytic therapy is typically weekly at minimum, and often more frequent. We discuss what makes sense for your situation during the consultation.
- What are your fees, and do you accept insurance?
- Individual sessions are $325 for 50 minutes; couples sessions are $375. A private-pay practice. Superbills are provided upon request for out-of-network reimbursement.
- Do you offer sessions in Spanish?
- Yes. I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Madrid, and sessions can be conducted entirely in Spanish or in a combination of the two languages.
